Portable Appliance Testing

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 requires that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.

Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Portable Appliance Testing is normally undertaken every 12 months, every item tested is provided with a unique identification code, which will be recorded on an asset document. PAT testing is a quick trusted method to demonstrate conformity with Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1974.

At Invista, our trained professionals will take care of testing and provide you with all the necessary documentation to comply with Regulations.
